In 1973, Pastor Sharon was saved in the midst of revival on Long Island. She immediately dedicated her life to the work of the Lord. Whether serving in the local church or going to Germany as a missionary for Teen Challenge Eurasia, encouraging others to live a life dedicated to Christ became her passion. In 1979, Pastor Sharon received a bible certificate from Valley Forge Christian College for theological studies. She knew that she wanted to spend her life helping hurting people. In 1983, Pastor Sharon and her late husband Pastor Steven Iannuccilli founded The Praise Tabernacle Inc., a church that was and is dedicated to helping all people find wholeness in Christ and those that are broken restored. Currently the Church continues to thrive and has been relaunched in 2018 as East Gate Church. In 2006, Pastor Sharon founded Rose Among Thorns. Through Rose Among Thorns, she realized a lifelong dream and opened Rose Cottage, a home for teenage girls. After 7 successful years of ministry, due to lack of finances the home closed. She has been a mentor, friend and mother to so many young women.  Even though she has accomplished so much, Pastor Sharon still has many more dreams and visions she is determined to achieve. However, her greatest achievement is raising her 4 children who love the Lord and their families.
